 This excursion to the park of rock churches is a wonderful experience. During the tour, you will discover the history of this magical place.

From Murgia Timone, you will observe the first human settlement and the traces of an ancient Neolithic village. Continuing, you will admire two important rock churches, the Rock Church of San Falcione and the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Tre Porte, with its Byzantine frescoes.

You will also reach a viewpoint, called Golgotha, where Mel Gibson filmed "The Passion of the Christ". During the excursion, you will enjoy the unique spectacle of the Città dei Sassi that lights up at sunset.
