The first stop is Polignano a Mare, a village overlooking the Adriatic, famous for its panoramic terraces, white historic center, and sea views. You can stroll through the alleys, reach the Bourbon Bridge over Lama Monachile, admire the panorama from the belvederes, and take a photo near the statue of Domenico Modugno. It's the perfect stop to breathe in the brighter, more marine atmosphere of Puglia.
The journey continues towards Alberobello, the village of trulli recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here you can walk between the Rione Monti and the Aia Piccola, observe the Trullo Siamese, the Church of Sant’Antonio, Casa d’Amore and the majestic Trullo Sovrano. It is an ideal stop to discover the most recognizable architecture of the Itria Valley up close and experience the authentic atmosphere of the trulli.
The last stop is Locorotondo, one of the most charming villages in the Itria Valley, known for its white houses, cummerse, neat streets, and panoramic views. During your free time, you can visit the Mother Church of San Giorgio, stroll along Via Nardelli, reach the Villa Comunale, and admire the valley landscape. For wine lovers, Locorotondo is also linked to the tradition of its famous local white wine.
The excursion lasts approximately 10 hours, with an easy difficulty level and is available in a private formula. The service includes private transfer from Matera in a Mercedes V-Class or Ford Transit minivan, professional driver, air-conditioned van, bottled water, free maps, tourist assistance via phone, WhatsApp or email, and the possibility of customizable pick-up and drop-off in Matera.
